I take a look at the 2020 Yamaha Tricity 300’s ergos, or ergonomics, as well as seat height, rider fit and how I find the three-wheeled scooter when it comes to sitting on board, handling and moving around on the bike.
The Tricity 300 offers a similar package to Yamaha’s XMax but adds an additional wheel with the Leaning Multi-Wheel system from Yamaha that allows proper lean angle, as well as an additional disc brake (one each wheel on the front) and a beefier fork setup.
The trade-off is extra weight, but offers great stability, with a locking system allowing the rider to lock the lean angle at a stop, in which case the Tricity 300 stands up on it’s own.
