Having tested Harley’s Street 500 LAMS machine earlier in the year, I also had the opportunity to ride the larger capacity Street Rod. Both are built around the relatively new Street platform, with the Street Rod offering a High Output version of the 750 Revolution X V-Twin.
Styling is significantly more sporty than the standard Street models, with up-spec suspension and brakes, good ground clearance and plenty of fun on offer for a competitive price. When I tested the bike there was special pricing with the Street Rod available for around the $10k figure on the road making for exceptional value, with normal pricing $13k ride-away which is still a lot of bike for the money.
