I’ve just grabbed an Argon Fusion jacket to join the summer motorcycle gear options in the garage, offering an alternative to my DRIRIDER Exo2 jacket, which is looking a bit faded after several seasons of heavy use.
A leather/mesh hybrid, the Argon Fusion jacket runs elbow and shoulder CE armour, YKK zips, neoprene at the collar and cuffs, large external pockets, three internal pockets including one which is waterproof and a mobile specific pocket, and there’s a removable thermal vest liner for good measure. But notably no waterproof liner.
It’s a sporty cut and while I don’t really fill the jacket out, I like the fit and style, with the red highlights standing out and matching my Fusion Turmoil Gloves.
I’ll update with a long term review once I’ve done some decent mileage, in varying conditions, but first impressions are good, with great comfort and air flow. The Argon Fusion Jacket was $439.00 RRP and I grabbed mine at the local AMX Superstore.
