2020 Ducati Streetfighter V4 & V4 S Model Overview

Ducati have just announced the new for 2020 Streetfighter V4 and up-spec Ohlins clad Streetfighter V4 S models, relaunching this iconic model with the most power and technology ever.

Originally seen in 2009 the first 1199cc L-twin Streetfighter was followed by the Streetfighter 848 and now we get the Streetfighter V4, offering a full performance hypernaked motorcycle with 208 horsepower and weighing just 178kg dry.

That’s powered by the Desmosedici Stradale V4 from the Panigale, and can be further boosted to 220hp and dropped 6kg with the Akrapovic full exhaust. Electronics are extensive, with the S model also featuring full Ohlins electronic suspension and steering damper, with the Ducati Electronic Suspension system, and adding forged aluminium Marchesini wheels.

Suspension on both 2020 Streetfighter V4s is fully adjustable, while Brembo Stylema calipers are featured on the 330mm semi-floating rotors, and a 245mm rear rotor is joined by a dual-piston caliper, all backed up by cornering ABS.

The 2020 Streetfighter V4 is also designed to offer what Ducati calls ‘sport-style’ ergonomics, with an 845mm seat height and 60mm of foam to ensure good comfort, with raised bars, and less aggressive foot controls compared to the Panigale.

Taking a look at the plethora of wheelie shots from Ducati, it’s easy to see the latest Streetfighter will well and truly take the bike to an all-new level. Pricing is yet to be released.
